Winter Black Truffle (tuber melanosporum Vitt.)

The Winter Black Truffle is certainly the most aromatic variety of black truffle. It has a black skin and the interior is dark with white veins.

Net weight: the size varies from a walnut to an orange. It is a truffle mostly round in shape and does not reach very large dimensions.

Expiry: we recommend consuming the product within approximately 4/5 days of purchase.

Storage: in the refrigerator in a hermetically sealed container.

Ideal: appetizers, first courses, main courses of meat or fish, eggs.

Pairings: It is suitable for the preparation of full-bodied first courses and is exceptional for the cut of Chianina, the carpaccio of ostrich meat or artisan bresaola, garnished with Parmesan cheese and pine nuts. Excellent with baked sea bream.

Recommended serving per plate: 5-10 g.
